This weekend was awesome, minus Friday.

Saturday I baked shmick a pokeball cake (my picture's won't upload, but it looked like the picture attached)

Then he opened all the awesome presents i got him, including but not limited to: dragonball z posters, pokemon stickers from japan, R.E.M. vinyl, etc.

Then we hung out with friends until we saw Eli Reed at the Cosmopolitan.

Sunday we watched football stuff in bed all morning until we went over to Fatty's to watch the game. Packers won, and I won money :) Then Mick and I watched Rocky & Bullwinkle the rest of the night after getting icecreamz.

Spring or Fall?

So I decided a while ago that I was going to study abroad in Pau, France. Now I can't decide if I want to go this fall 2011 or spring 2012. The reason I want to go in the fall is because i'm positive that France is gorgeous in the autumn and I want to see it during the holidays. The thing that gets me, though, is that I would have to come immediately home because spring semester (and Christmas with mon famille) would be starting very soon after.

If I went in the Spring I would be able to stay there during the summer if I wanted to, and travel throughout Europe more during that time. I wouldn't get to see the beautiful fall, though.

Not sure what I should do...I want to get to France asap, but the spring semester is a full year away :/ Halp!

Your brain is working against you. When you fall asleep, that large organ that is pumping to keep you alive inside your head is thinking (ha ha) of ways to make you terrified. What i'm talking about are bad dreams and nightmares. Every part of your body is supposed to be WITH you, working to keep you healthy and happy. Not your dome, though. As soon as you fall asleep it remembers all of the things that you talked/thought about earlier that day. It remembers all of your greatest fears and all of the things that have recently been bothering you. After it gathers all this important information, it puts it into a tiny film to be shown inside your head that will either terrify you, make you uncomfortable, or make you very sad. Thanks, brain, I thought we were buds.

My whole life i've been able to immediately tell how people are feeling. The characters this applies to is very broad: it could be someone i've only just met and is always definitely someone that i've known for a long time. Not only this, but the majority of the time i'm also able to tell what a person is thinking and/or planning. Not because I claim to be psychic or anything, but simply because I stay very aware of my surroundings and I watch other people and their actions, movements, expressions, and so on. This has helped me a great deal in my life, but it has also been (at times) a negative effect. I have been able to "foresee" a certain outcome or motive of an individual, tried to alert others, and have had it blown up in my face. This has been going on my entire life, positive and negative reactions to my awareness and knowledge of the human mind. The stars attribute it to my zodiac, and that may be true, but I believe it's simply that I keep an open mind and am always studying others. Not only this, but I think about what I would normally do in the same situation and apply it to my "research".

I guess why i'm writing this is because lately there's been an individual that has alerted me many times through actions and speech that they are up to no good. I have warned another individual this could effect, but they don't seem to get it. I definitely don't want to be right in this certain situation, I would much rather be wrong because i don't want the negative outcome to happen. Maybe this is my way of saying "I know what you're doing, you had better stop" without being a gigantic know-it-all bitch, ya know?

This photographer has taken 3D imaging to a whole new level, and I think it's fantastic. What he does may not seem amazing on paper (he takes multiple images of subjects and then recreates it in 3D form) but in person these pieces are extraordinary. I will definitely be expirementing with stuff like this in the future.

When girls are inaccurately proportioned it grosses me out. Specifically when a skinny girl, or normal sized girl has gigantic boobs. If you are a big-boned girl and you have breasts to match, that's great for you, you're gorgeous:) If you are skinny/small and have slim-to-no breasts, congratulations, you make the cut:)

However, if you are smaller and you have gigantic tits then you gross me out. In reality, I think that you are "MORE woman than normal", which basically translates to you remind me of a period/I automatically think you are on your menstrual cycle 24/7. I've been re-listening to a lot of the old music I was really into my freshman and sophomore year of high school. I have to say, it's coming back around and I love that I still remember all the lyrics, it's refreshing. That and it leaves me time to deal with all my recent downloads, instead of adding more to my gigantic fucking library that I haven't been able to sort through for the past few weeks. I hate when i realize i'm only working against myself.

That being said, here's my "Things I love Thursday", but on Friday, and in list form (thx Dara)

- Dexter : this has got to be the best show i've ever watched. It's better than LOST, and that's saying a whole god damn lot. I watched the entire first season back in the day, but I only just got around to finishing the 2nd. Cannot wait to get my hands on the 3rd!

- Baking, need I say more?

- Making people hate me. I must be doing something right if i've got a bunch of bitches on my balls, right? So refreshing.

- Having more twitter followers than Mick does

- Staying in during the weekends and just chilling with good friends in the dorm. DC is great, but it's really relaxing to not have to take the bus to the metro, the metro to whatever stop, and then still walk a couple of blocks after that. City, I love you, but you are a hassle.

- THRIFTING. My next post will be all my fantastic buys from my outing last weekend, I promise. Lisa, you will die

- Walking on Mt. Vernon. That stop is gorgeous architecture-wise, and the streets are alive with so many people doing so many different things. There are parts of DC where you feel kind of iffy because there's absolutely no one around, but this area is always filled with hustle and bustle, but not cars, it's great. The landscape is gorgeous too with the cherry blossoms at this season

- CHERRY BLOSSOMS

- Talking shit. There's nothing like a good mouth-vent. And what better to talk about than stupid people? Everyone talks shit, even if they don't admit it. What's wrong, though, is when whatever someone says is a lie. Don't make up shit, just voice your opinion on the truth, even if it is none of your business. It's a part of life and the sooner everyone learns that the better. "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words may never hurt". Damn straight, stop being a pussy.

So I've decided i'm going to start writing down my short stories. Both as they happen, and ones that I remember from the past. but I decided not to. Instead I will simply updatez you on my day/night, since I still have an hour and 1/2 until I find out if I get on the plane.

So, dudez, I totally got a buddy pass for $50 bucks instead of paying full price to go home for Spring Break, woo! CATCH: You fly standby and have to wait to see if you get on the plane. This is all totally fine. The BIG catch (for me at least) is that Baltimore (an hour away) is the only airport that has more than just two flights out to Vegas on a daily basis. So, my choice was to either get a ride here 6 hours before the very first flight takes off, or wait until the middle of the day and blow a lot of chances to get home faster. I chose the first and was the only human being not cleaning in the airport for a good 4 hours:D

Activities while I waited for my surroundings to liven up:

-Watched episode 8 of LOST (wasn't as interesting as other episodes, such as #7, but was still worth 45 minutes of my time)

-Went pee 50 times

-Hung out on the intarwebz

-Called multiple peoples in my phonebook

-Grew a beard to stay warm

-DISCOVERED A VENDING MACHINE THAT TAKES CREDIT CARDS, FUCKING RAD.

-Had lots and lots of sex, not.

After Southwest opened and I got to the kiosk desk the lady told me I didn't make a reservation (Thanks Fatty, Louie, Kevin, and Southwest for telling me I had to do this, btw.) and that they can't just book a reservation right there for buddy passes and she's sorry. (At this point in time I felt my knees get weak and my mouth water, I was going to puke.) All the hours of waiting, and I wouldn't even be able to go home and see everyone?! Beyond that, I would somehow need to find a ride back from B-more to DC at short notice?! I think she saw I was about to cry because she asked me to do her a favor. Apparently the little old lady in front of me had forgotten her boarding pass and was now nowhere to be found. The woman wanted to know if I would take her her plane ticket (This was really weird. Yes, I am a trustworthy person but the Southwest worker doesn't know that! I could be anyone! Why trust a passenger with another passenger's ticket??) Of course I said I would do it and then wallah: she had "magically" booked me a reservation. Yes, I still have to wait to see if I get on that plane, but the point is i'm in the terminal and if I don't get a plane I get the next one, or the next one, or the next one (you get the point). So yay!

So I didn't get on that last plane. They had a real teaser too, thy announced over the intercom that if the SIX passengers missing weren't there in 5 minutes there seats would be given away (to mez). Right when they were about to call my name (I know, because I saw them give the heads up!) Six people come running in! SHIT. So i ran over to the next flight which was at 7:15 and a connector flight from Arizona. Waited and waited and the lady basically told me my reservation is all screwed up, so she can't let me on the plane, but even if she could its all booked. Lisa Goin, tears started coming and I was about to call somebody (Dad? Mick? idk!) and just bawl.

BUT WAIT, after the doors wer ealready closed and locked I hear "Jessica?! Jessica!" so I briskly walked over to the desk and the lady says "I have one more seat, do you want it? You won't have a boarding pass, just use this" and then she hands me some random piece of paper that has NO flight information on it whatsoever. But yay! I got on the plane! It was 5 1/2 hours on the plane, and now i'm in Arizona waiting to get on another plane.

What. A. Day.

Last night I watched Boogie Nights twice, right after one another. It was ridiculous, I'm having mixed feelings on the situation really. The first viewing was with Dara and Jill, we had an awesome time but were pissed when the movie ended up being about 5 hours long (I exxxagerate).

The second viewing was with Jordan Brown and Eva, my roommate. We paused the film in the end when Mark E. Mark whips out his gigantic dick. We examined and came to the conclusion that not only is that NOT Mark's package, but simply fake and made of plastic and silicone materials as well.

Also, I truly believe P.T. Anderson should have ended the film after William H. macy kills himself going into the eighties. The film would have been great and a decent length if it all came to an end along with Macy's life. But hey, that's just me.

Hundreds of Palestinian civilians are being killed each day since Israel started its bomb campaign on 12/27. Yes, Israel was provoked (for the last three years since Israeli's were forced to leave the Gaza Strip, Palestinian groups have continually bombed the Israeli border).

On the surface, many will point out that far more Palestinians have been killed in the past few days than Israeli's in the past few years because of cross-bombing. However, you have to point out the fact that Israel has been bombed on a day-to-day basis, and no matter how ineffective the bombs were at killing people, Palestinian group's goal is death.

Like in Lebanon in 2006, Israel strives for an improbable outcome. If things are to progress naturally, Israel will soon be sending ground troops into Gaza. After that, this will be not just a battle, but a (new) war. Does Israel want this? Perhaps, but let's hope not.

Possible reasons Israel may want war: Stop Palestinian groups from bombing Israel/protect its border. End the 100 years war against Palestine. With the growth of Iran and Iraq's nuclear weapons (and their hatred for Israel) perhaps Israel is trying to show they can protect themselves?

Whatever the reason, I hope it's a good one, and I hope it's worth it.

January: Started the year off at a great party with great friends, but had it ruined immediately via fighting with my boyfriend at the time. New Years Resolution? Not be so dramatically overemotional, in all parts of my life

March: Got accepted into American University, and made the decision to move to Washington, DC

May: Human Rights Fair: success! Got the award from The Las Vegas Review Journal as Best writer/reporter in the RJeneration. My mom went to jail, and I proceeded to experience my graduation, prom, and 18th birthday without her.

June: Graduated from Canyon Springs HS and the Leadership and Law Preparatory Academy and had a decent Prom night. My dress was the bomb, though

July: 18th birthday! Had a gigantic dance party at Fatty's house, and an overall great time. First tattoo, too

August: Said goodbye to everyone and moved to DC. Difficult, but it was worth it. Cut my hair!

October: Broke up with my boyfriend of 3 years, started branching out friend-wise at school, started dating someone new, and got arrested and spent 5 hours in jail, lol

December: Did better than I thought I would in my first semester, had someone close to me treat me the way he promised never to treat me, but had a really great christmas! Got a passport, too

January: First new years I've ever started with a kiss, i like it
